4. First-aid measures

Skin Contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with plenty of water and soap for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs.

Eye Contact: Immediately lift eyelids and rinse cautiously with copious amounts of flowing water or normal saline for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.

Inhalation: Move rapidly to fresh air. Keep airway clear. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.

Ingestion: If swallowed, rinse mouth immediately. Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel. Seek medical attention.

5. Fire-fighting measures

Fire Hazard: Generally non-combustible. However, under extreme conditions (high temperature, open flame), some organic components may burn.

Hazardous Combustion Products: Combustion may produce carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrogen oxides (NOₓ- if nitrogen-containing components burn), etc.

Suitable Extinguishing Media: Water spray, dry chemical powder, carbon dioxide (CO₂) extinguishers.

Extinguishing Methods: Use cooling, isolation methods. Prevent spread of fire.

6. Accidental release measures

Emergency Procedures:

Evacuate personnel from the spill area immediately. Isolate hazard area and restrict access.

Eliminate ignition sources (if possible).

Small Spills: Absorb with inert material (e.g., sand, earth, vermiculite). Collect and transfer to approved waste disposal containers/facility.

Large Spills: Contain spill using dams or dikes. Transfer recovered material using pumps to tank trucks or specialized collectors for recovery or disposal at an approved waste facility. Prevent entry into sewers or waterways.

7. Handling and storage

Handling Precautions:

Personnel should wear appropriate protective equipment (work clothes, gloves, safety goggles, etc.).

Ensure adequate ventilation in the workplace. Avoid application in confined spaces.

Keep away from ignition sources, heat, and open flame. Use explosion-proof ventilation systems and equipment.

Storage Conditions:

Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse/store.

Keep away from ignition sources and heat.

Store separately from strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, and strong alkalis. Do not store together.

Storage area should be equipped with spill control equipment and suitable containment materials.

8. Exposure controls / personal protection

Occupational Exposure Limits: No specific occupational exposure limits established. (Fill in according to applicable national or industry standards if they exist).

Monitoring Methods: No specific monitoring required. (Fill in if required).

Engineering Controls: Ensure good natural ventilation. Use local exhaust ventilation equipment if necessary.

Respiratory Protection: Normally not required under conditions of good ventilation. In case of poor ventilation or high concentrations during application, use a self-contained filtering respirator (half mask).

Eye Protection: Wear chemical splash goggles to prevent contact.

Skin/Body Protection: Wear general work clothes.

Hand Protection: Wear chemical-resistant gloves, such as nitrile gloves.

Other Protective Measures: Prohibit eating, drinking, and smoking in the work area. Wash thoroughly and change clothes after handling. Maintain good personal hygiene practices.

9. Physical and chemical properties

Appearance: Homogeneous liquid, blue

pH: 8.0

Melting Point/Freezing Point: Not applicable

Flash Point: Not applicable

Flammability: Generally non-flammable

Solubility: Dispersible in water; some components soluble in organic solvents

Relative Density (Water=1): 1.08

Vapor Density (Air=1): >1 (Air=1)

10. Stability and reactivity

Stability: Stable under normal storage and use conditions.

Materials to Avoid (Incompatibility): Strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, strong bases (may react and affect coating performance).

Conditions to Avoid: Avoid high temperatures, open flames, strong oxidizers.

Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur under normal conditions.
